This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer-first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end-to-end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey, both directly and indirectly.
Role Objective
The Senior Manager will lead the delivery and continuous enhancement of technology solutions supporting Insurance Product Implementation, Campaign Implementation, Healthcare & Wellness initiatives, Risk, and strategic proposition-related projects.
The role is accountable for end-to-end project delivery, business and solution analysis, stakeholder alignment, management of onshore and offshore delivery resources, and reliable production support. The role will bridge business objectives with technology execution and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
AI Adoption
This role will actively drive the responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools and solutions, including GitHub Copilot, enterprise LLM platforms, Copilot Studio, and in-house AI capabilities, to enhance team productivity, improve delivery efficiency, strengthen solution quality, and support data-driven decision-making across IT and business functions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Delivery, Business Analysis & Implementation (80%)

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Insurance Product Implementation, Campaign Implementation, Healthcare & Wellness initiatives, Risk, and strategic proposition projects.
• Manage onshore and offshore delivery resources and coordinate activities across business users, development teams, vendors, and support teams.
• Own project scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, customer outcomes, and operational challenges.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, process analysis, solution design discussions, walkthroughs, and decision alignment.
• Collaborate with architects, internal technology teams, development teams, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business objectives, regulatory and compliance requirements, security expectations, and enterprise standards.
• Lead and support testing activities, including test planning, UAT readiness, defect triage, deployment planning, production rollout, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Ensure project governance and delivery comply with TDA methodologies, controls, and standards.
• Communicate delivery status, key risks, mitigation plans, decisions, and recommendations to sponsors, steering committees, and senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Prepare management reports, steering committee materials, executive presentations, and delivery documentation.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted practices across the SDLC, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, incident analysis, and knowledge management.
• Use GitHub Copilot, enterprise LLM platforms, Copilot Studio, and internal AI agents to improve delivery productivity and solution quality.
• Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities that optimize business processes and improve customer experience.
• Establish responsible-AI practices, governance, and measurable productivity outcomes in partnership with architecture, risk, compliance, and security teams.
• Coach and upskill team members so that AI-enabled ways of working are embedded into daily delivery practices.

 

Production Support, Technical Advice & Continuous Improvement (20%)

• Ensure reliable production operation of application systems and provide timely support to business users.
• Analyze technical and production issues and coordinate cost-effective resolution with support, development, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
• Provide technical advice, handle user enquiries, and coordinate incident, problem, and change activities.
• Support BAU enhancements and continuous improvement for proposition-related applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency, controls, resilience, and customer outcomes.
• Conduct research on emerging technology and prepare recommendations where relevant.
• Promote knowledge sharing, maintain support and solution documentation, and strengthen team capability.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

 

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in information technology, including systems analysis, application development, project delivery, or application support, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience managing initiatives through the full lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through testing, production rollout, and post-go-live support.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore delivery resources, vendors, and multiple concurrent priorities.
• Insurance or financial-services experience is strongly preferred; experience in product implementation, campaign management, Risk, customer engagement, healthcare, wellness, or proposition-related platforms is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in AI implementation, AI-assisted software delivery, automation, or digital transformation is preferred.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, application support, change management, testing, release, and production-control practices.
• Good understanding of system integration, APIs, data flows, cloud platforms, DevOps, and enterprise application delivery.
• Exposure to GitHub Copilot, large language models, Copilot Studio, AI agents, or similar enterprise AI solutions.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and SQL for impact analysis, requirement validation, and issue investigation is an advantage.
