YOUR MISSION

Responsible for leading and growing a portfolio of stores within a defined geographical area, driving sustainable sales growth, profitability and brand consistency through strong commercial leadership and operational excellence. The role translates retail strategy into effective multi-store execution and ensures consistent business performance and consumer experience across all assigned stores.

Key Tasks:

• Directly responsible for ensuring the Area consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPI and profitability targets through effective business planning, performance management and expense control.
• Analyze business performance, customer insights, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and implement actions that drive sustainable growth across all stores.
• Develop and execute Area business plans that support sustainable revenue growth, market share and long-term business success.
• Monitor customer feedback, NPS and service metrics and implement actions that continuously enhance consumer experience.
• Guarantee a consistently high standard of consumer experience across the Area in accordance with PUMA Brand Values and service standards.
• Drive customer-centric behaviors that increase loyalty, repeat visits and brand advocacy across all stores.
• Ensure the execution of all Visual Merchandising standards, seasonal campaigns and product presentation guidelines, guaranteeing a consistent and compelling representation of the PUMA brand.
• Ensure assortments, product stories and seasonal collections are presented in a consumer-focused and commercially effective manner to maximize brand impact and sales performance.
• Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives, promotions and key brand events across the Area.
• Recruit, develop, coach and retain high-performing Store Managers who deliver strong commercial, operational and customer service results.
• Conduct regular store visits to coach Store Managers, review performance and ensure consistent execution of business priorities and operational standards.
• Ensure all required training and development programs are successfully completed and applied to drive performance and operational excellence.
• Drive operational consistency and execution excellence across all stores within the Area.
• Accountable for achieving payroll targets and maintaining operating expenses within approved budgets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, operational standards and all legal, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for Loss Prevention, inventory management, stock accuracy and shrinkage control across all stores within the Area.
• Act as a change leader, ensuring successful adoption of new retail processes, tools, technologies and business initiatives.
• Lead and support the successful implementation of new store openings, closures, retail initiatives and business transformation projects.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business objectives and provide Regional Management with regular updates on Area performance and key initiatives.
• Share best practices, market insights and consumer trends with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to support continuous business improvement.
• Visit all stores within the assigned Area at least once per month, with additional visits based on business and operational needs.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours—including evenings, weekends, and public holidays—is required based on operational needs.

Leadership:

• Responsible for all aspects of people leadership and talent management, including performance management, development planning, coaching, feedback, appraisals and employee lifecycle processes.
• Drive a high-performance culture through clear expectations, accountability, recognition and continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture by actively engaging team members, promoting open communication, and implementing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and operational requirements relating to occupational health and safety within own area of responsibility.

YOUR TALENT

• Four to five years of management experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear) with a results-driven track record
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Possesses commercial acumen
• An inclination towards innovation and change
• Exhibits effective leadership
• PC-skills, MS-Office Knowledge, Outlook, Internet
