Shift: Nights 7:00PM–7:30AM CT; occasional days

Duration: 12 hours

Experience: 1+ year of acute hospital experience (critical care preferred)

License: Active Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner license

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care under physician orders, including ventilator management and weaning
• Administer aerosol/nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy and airway clearance
• Draw and analyze ABGs where applicable and respond to rapid responses/codes
• Accurately document care and follow infection control and equipment safety protocols

Requirements

• Must have 1+ year of acute hospital RT experience; ventilator experience required
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Active Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• NBRC credential (RRT preferred)
• Active BLS and ACLS Certification
• Negative TB within last 12 months
• Hep B Series or Titer
• MMR Series or Titer
• Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
• Varicella Series or Titer
