Burns & McBride is launching a residential plumbing department, and we’re looking for an experienced service plumber who wants more than another seat in another truck.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and replace residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Independently manage a full daily service schedule
- Thoroughly evaluate plumbing concerns and identify the root cause—not just the immediate symptom
- Explain findings clearly and present homeowners with appropriate repair and replacement options
- Help customers make informed decisions through honest education and professional recommendations
- Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality
- Build trust with homeowners and consistently deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Meet performance and revenue goals by identifying legitimate customer needs and offering the right solutions
- Accurately document diagnoses, estimates, recommendations, and completed work using mobile service software
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle
- Protect customers’ homes and leave every work area cleaner than you found it
- Minimize callbacks by completing work correctly the first time
- Provide feedback and ideas that help strengthen the new plumbing department
What We’re Looking For
- Five or more years of residential service plumbing experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across residential plumbing systems
- Proven ability to independently manage a daily service schedule
- Experience presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners
- A history of delivering exceptional customer service while consistently meeting revenue goals
- Confident, professional, and customer-focused communication skills
- Strong organization, follow-through, and time-management abilities
- Comfortable using mobile technology and service-management software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and high-quality workmanship
- A self-driven mindset and willingness to take ownership of each service call
