The College of Pharmacy at The Ohio State University is seeking applicants for a Researcher Associate position. The Duarte Lab wishes to hire a research associate in the area of cardiovascular pharmacology and genomics. This individual will conduct translational genomic research in the area of heart failure and pulmonary hypertension – this includes both animal and clinical research.

Required Experience and Education:

B.S. degree in biology, biochemistry, or pharmacology. 1 year of relevant experience conducting genomic or transcriptomic analyses, including statistical analysis;  Experience working with large publicly available datasets, such as UK Biobank or All of Us.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with animal models of heart failure.

Excellent scientific writing and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $51,500 - $67,250. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
