The Research Analyst works under the supervision of the Director of Institutional Research and will be responsible for supporting the director with data and reporting requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 
• Completes National Student Clearinghouse Enrollment and DegreeVerify reporting, including error and rejection resolution.
• Assists the director with recurring and periodic data requests, such as:
o Compile data in support of the college’s Strategic Plan
o Compile data in support of the college’s Enrollment Management Plan
o Compile success rates by course, delivery type, and instructor
o Compile program specific graduation rates.
o Compile data required for program accreditations
o Compile data for Gainful Employment reporting
• Maintains publicly accessible website documents, including but not limited to, semester enrollment summaries, graduation and retention rates, and graduates by academic program.
• Completes Arkansas Division of Higher Education file submissions as assigned by the director.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

·       Associate’s degree in computer information systems, business or related area  

·       Knowledge of SQL Programming Language and Relational Database

·       Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to organize, analyze, and manage data

  

Job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the Chancellor.  

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

·       Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, research, business administration, education, or a related field  

·       One year of higher education experience in research, reporting, and/or data analytics. 

·       Knowledge of programming language(s) such as Power BI, R, and Python.
