About the Role:

The Relief Overnight Manager oversees hotel operations during the overnight shift, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and seamless communication across departments. As the senior leader on duty overnight, this role supports the Front Office team while partnering with all hotel departments to maintain Four Seasons standards, resolve guest concerns, and ensure the safety, security, and satisfaction of guests and employees. This position provides coverage for the Night Manager and Overnight Front Desk Agent during scheduled days off and as business needs require.

 

What You Will Do

• Lead and support Front Desk operations during the overnight shift, ensuring service standards are maintained at all times.
• Monitor overnight hotel operations through regular property walkthroughs and collaboration with all departments.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care while creating personalized experiences that exceed expectations.
• Coordinate room assignments, arrivals, departures, billing requirements, and special guest accommodations.
• Review financial transactions, cash handling procedures, audits, and credit-related activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Respond promptly to safety, security, and emergency situations while protecting the wellbeing of guests and employees.
• Utilize hotel systems to manage guest reservations, room inventory, night audit functions, and operational reporting.
• Partner with Front Office, Security, Bell Services, and People & Culture teams to ensure smooth overnight operations and team member support.

 

What You Bring

• Previous leadership experience in Front Office, Rooms Operations, or luxury hospitality preferred.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and confidence.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and make sound decisions independently.
• Proficiency with hotel operating systems and general computer applications.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
