Financial Reporting Analyst – Europe

About the role

Join our Europe Finance team and play a key part in the regulatory and statutory reporting of Hiscox S.A. (HSA). You'll support Luxembourg and wider European reporting, helping ensure financial information is accurate, timely and compliant.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to consolidate their finance career and grow into regulatory reporting within a multinational insurance environment — full training and support provided. We're looking for someone eager to learn, not the finished article.

What you'll do

• Support Luxembourg and European regulatory & statutory reporting, filings and submissions.
• Help prepare and analyse financial information, reconciliations and reporting templates.
• Contribute to strong financial controls, governance and process improvements.
• Work closely with Finance teams (Reporting, Controlling, Accounting, FP&A), auditors and regulators.
• Support month-end activities, audit requests and ad-hoc projects.

Who you are

A motivated finance professional (c. 2–4 years' experience) with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn. You work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, international environment.

You'll ideally have:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles (balance sheet & P&L, IFRS basis).
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI an advantage.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Nice to have (but not essential — we'll train you):

• Exposure to insurance accounting, Lux GAAP and/or Solvency II.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and multinational environments.
