Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team in Los Gatos, CA. This is a highly flexible, part-time / PRN on-call position perfect for someone looking to pick up extra hours throughout the month.

Job Overview

• Registered Dietitian ( Full Time, Part-Time / PRN / On-Call
• $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
• Highly flexible, fill-in hours distributed throughout the month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments and care planning for residents.
• Assess therapeutic and texture-modified diet needs based on medical conditions.
• Complete required clinical documentation timely and in compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with the speech therapist, nursing staff, and the culinary team.
• Monitor residents with significant weight changes or high-risk nutritional status.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Active license or certification in accordance with California state laws.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and independent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for patient and family interactions.
