St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.

The Cardiovascular Centre is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Cardiovascular team. This is a full time or part time permanent position on a rotating Monday to Friday roster including pro rata on call responsibilities.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

You must demonstrate an ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, display excellent communication skills and be competent and capable in managing acute situations in a rapidly changing clinical environment.

Duties include scrubbing, scouting and monitoring patients during cardiac and vascular procedures, as well as admitting, recovering and discharging patients in our admissions/recovery area.

Experience in the area/specialty is required. There also may be an opportunity for applicants to undertake a post graduate certificate in Interventional Cardiology.
