This is an independent contractor (1099) role. Each factor below describes what that means in practice. Final terms are set out in the contractor agreement for the state where the position is posted, and that agreement governs.
- Control over the work: Independent contractors decide which visits to accept and when to schedule them, within each community's access hours and the agreed scope of work. Independent contractors choose how to complete assessments, counseling and documentation, within professional standards and clinical guidelines. MealSuite does not set working hours beyond the visit schedule agreed for each community, and does not direct the independent contractor's clinical judgment.
