This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospital dietitian or a new grad registered dietitian seeking hands-on training, mentorship, nutrition support experience, and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist — plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, if applicable.

Compensation & Schedule:

• · Competitive pay based on experience:

o Clinical Dietitian Pay Range: $29.14 - 44.94/hr

o Clinical Dietitian Specialist Pay Range: $32.02 - 49.44/hr

• · Full-time Day shift schedule (Monday–Friday) in acute care hospital setting

• · Minimal weekend requirement (~1 weekend per month)

Training & Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

• · Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as a Clinical Dietitian (RD/RDN) to patients in acute care and specialized populations

• · Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs in a hospital setting

• · Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and improve patient outcomes

• · Utilize clinical nutrition tools and technology (indirect calorimetry, nutrient analysis software, glucometers) to develop personalized care plans

• · Support and mentor dietetic interns, new graduate dietitians, and clinical nutrition staff

• · Implement evidence-based nutrition practices in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• · Manage nutrition care across the continuum, including discharge planning and durable medical equipment (DME) ordering

• · Independently write and manage nutrition-related orders within scope of practice as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

Qualifications (Registered Dietitian- Clinical)

• · Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible. If hired in registration eligible status, employee must successfully pass the Registered Dietitian credentialing exam within 6 months of hire to remain in the job.

• · For registration eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a minimum of a master’s degree by an accredited university. Education is verified.

• · Completion of an ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate-level competency-based dietitian nutritionist program.

• · State licensure or certification in accordance with the primary state of practice requirement for Registered Dietitians. If the primary state of practice requires licensure or certification, this must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

• · Experience in clinical dietetics, preferred.

Qualifications (Registered Dietitian- Clinical Specialist)

• · Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• · 2 or more years of dietetics experience in a clinical setting, preferred.

• · Experience in managing patients in a specialty area, preferred.

• · Relevant dietetics-related specialty practice credential (CNSC, CSP, CDCES, CSO, CSR, CSOWM, etc.), preferred
