As a Regional T&L Customer Quality Manager, you will lead the Customer Quality Engineering team supporting Littelfuse Transportation & Logistics customers across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for developing the team, strengthening relationships with key customer quality organizations, and ensuring that the Voice of the Customer is effectively represented across T&L and Operations. This role combines people leadership, customer engagement, quality problem-solving, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer quality support.
About the Job:
- Lead, manage, and continually develop the Customer Quality Engineering team supporting key customers across the EMEA region.
- Represent and advocate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) across the Transportation & Logistics business and Operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer quality organizations at both operational and decision-making levels.
- Identify opportunities to differentiate Littelfuse customer quality support and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Lead the escalation and resolution of complex customer quality issues, ensuring a swift, data-driven, and effective response.
- Partner with customers and internal teams to investigate quality issues, analyze data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
- Manage the overall customer product return process related to quality issues.
- Coordinate and support customer audits and work with plant Quality teams to address findings and strengthen quality management systems.
- Establish and maintain key quality metrics to monitor customer performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop structured review processes and communicate quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives to T&L Business Unit and Quality leadership.
- Monitor and drive improvements in customer scorecard performance.
- Coach and develop team members in quality tools, problem-solving methodologies, and effective customer management.
- Support cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across the organization to achieve quality and customer satisfaction objectives.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 8-10+ years of quality-related experience in a global manufacturing environment, including experience supporting a global customer base.
- Proven experience in automotive quality, including quality systems, product launches, change management, and supplier development.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including DMAIC, FMEA, APQP, and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality requirements.
- Experience coaching and developing teams in the use of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage complex customer quality escalations and effectively communicate with senior customer stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills, with the ability to use data to drive quality and process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others and work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
- Strong people leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict, influence stakeholders, and actively listen to customers and internal teams.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare quality reports, business correspondence, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Minitab and project management tools is an advantage.
- Strong track record of delivering results and driving measurable improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
