The National Director of Law Schools is responsible for leading Bloomberg Law’s strategy, revenue growth, client retention, and market engagement across the U.S. law school sector. This executive leader oversees a team of sales and service professionals dedicated to serving accredited law schools, academic law libraries, faculty, administrators, career services offices, and students.

What you will do:

• Manage and achieve revenue and retention associated with law school channel

• Create and execute adoption strategy for law schools, ensuring a sales and service process rigor.

• Drive focus on accounts identified as priority law schools.

• Develops relationships with key academic stakeholders and prospective and current clients; gains insights into the business and their needs.

• Provides monthly forecasting and engagement activity progress.

• Drives collaboration within team, ensuring they work together to achieve success.

• Drives a clients first mentality within the organization.

• Hires, coaches, develops, and mentors a strong team, including spending time in the field with sales and service reps.

• Works to implement improvements on process to increase engagement efficiency with large end user population. 

• Leads discussions with internal partners on innovation surrounding the law school engagement strategy.

You need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business, marketing, sales, or related field or equivalent experience. JD preferred.

• 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the legal information industry or electronic information industry and with Bloomberg Industry Group.

• Prior management experience desirable.

• Experience in sales management with other companies comparable to Bloomberg Industry Group may be considered in lieu of internal experience.

Compensation Range:

$110,000.00-$145,000.00

Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
