- Strategic Leadership & Operations Management:
- Develop and execute the regional facilities strategy aligned with business objectives and client expectations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple countries in APAC, ensuring consistent service delivery standards (SLAs/KPIs).
- Manage P&L responsibility for the regional portfolio, optimizing operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean management principles and digital transformation tools.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-cultural team of Facility Managers, Technical Leads, and support staff across the region.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and customer-centricity.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify talent gaps, and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary escalation point for key clients and stakeholders in the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and property owners.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure alignment on goals, performance, and future needs.
- Compliance, Risk & Sustainability:
- Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, environmental (HSE), and regulatory requirements in all operating countries.
- Implement and monitor risk management protocols, including business continuity planning and emergency response procedures.
- Drive sustainability initiatives (ESG) to reduce carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency across the portfolio.
- Vendor & Contract Management:
- Oversee the procurement and management of third-party service providers (cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.).
- Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure value for money.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Facilities Management, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role covering the Asia Pacific region.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-site portfolios in corporate or commercial sectors.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of FM best practices, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 41001), and HSE regulations.
- Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Archibus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to influence across cultures.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian languages is a plus.
