We are looking for a qualified lawyer to join our highly regarded Real Estate team in Bristol.
About the Role:
Our highly experienced Real Estate group regularly deal with multi-million pound transactions and act for some of the largest property owners and developers in the country.
The Real Estate team has been rated as tier 1 in the Legal 500. We advise on all aspects of Real Estate business including major retail, residential and mixed use and office developments, property financing and commercial landlord and tenant matters and, portfolio acquisitions and disposals.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our office in Bristol. We are looking for a 1-3PQE to support national and international investors and developers.
About You:
Residential transactional enfranchisement lawyer with:
• experience dealing with statutory lease extension claims under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993
• drafting and negotiating leases
• experience dealing with collective enfranchisement claims desirable but not essential
• experience drafting and advising on residential tenancies including assured periodic tenancies and familiarity with the Renters Rights Act 2025 and Tenant Fees Act 2019
• experience dealing with licences to alter, licences to assign and deeds of variation
• some knowledge of rights of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 desirable but not essential
• experience dealing with sales and purchases and refinance of residential and mixed use property
