Breast Imager

The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist (fellowship-trained or similarly experienced) to join our Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE). This position offers the opportunity to practice high-quality breast imaging in a collaborative, academically engaged environment.

As the teaching hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, we are deeply committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and research. Imaging facilities are state of the art and continuously upgraded, supported by a robust system-wide IT infrastructure and PACS environment.

This role is fully subspecialized in breast imaging and offers flexibility in scheduling, with full-time and part-time options available, as well as the potential for hybrid work arrangements. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, as well as breast ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided interventions. In addition to clinical responsibilities, there are meaningful opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary collaboration, contribute to resident and fellow education, and engage in clinical research initiatives.

Montefiore places a strong emphasis on comprehensive women’s health and cancer services, fostering close collaboration with clinical colleagues across specialties. The position also offers the opportunity for an academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, along with a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualified candidates must have completed fellowship training in breast imaging, be ABR-certified or eligible, and hold (or be eligible for) a New York State medical license. Montefiore Medical Center is the teaching hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is located in the Bronx, a short drive or public transit commute from Manhattan and also easily accessible from Westchester County, Long Island and northern New Jersey.

In addition to a competitive salary starting at $425,000-$525,000, we offer productivity incentives.  LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b).
