Beano Brain London, UK (Hybrid, 2 days per week in our Fleet Street office)

Help us understand the next generation

Beano Brain, the award-winning insights agency behind some of the world's leading kid, youth and family research, is looking for a Quantitative Research Executive to join our growing team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their research career, or ready to take the next step, to gain hands-on experience across the full research process. From questionnaire design and fieldwork management to analysis, storytelling and client presentations, you'll play an active role in delivering research that helps brands better understand kids, teens and families.

As a small and collaborative team, everyone has the opportunity to make a genuine impact. You'll work closely with experienced researchers, contribute ideas from day one and gain exposure to a wide range of clients, sectors and methodologies. We encourage curiosity, initiative and healthy challenge, creating an environment where great ideas can come from anywhere.

If you're naturally inquisitive, enjoy solving problems and love uncovering the story behind the data, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied role with opportunities to contribute across every aspect of our work.

You'll support the delivery of commercial client projects, help produce Beano Brain's thought leadership research and contribute ideas that shape how we continue to evolve our quantitative offering.

Working alongside both quantitative and qualitative researchers, you'll support projects across sectors including:

  • Toys
  • Entertainment
  • Charities
  • Financial Services
  • Consumer Brands
  • And many more

This isn't a behind-the-scenes data role. You'll have early exposure to clients and the opportunity to contribute ideas, creativity and ownership from the outset.

You'll also have the chance to help shape how AI is integrated into our research workflows, from questionnaire design and analysis through to reporting and storytelling.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking part in client meetings and supporting the briefing and proposal process.
  • Contributing to the design of research projects with support from senior colleagues.
  • Supporting the planning, delivery and quality assurance of ad-hoc research projects from start to finish.
  • Drafting questionnaires and checking survey links.
  • Managing project administration and keeping clients updated on progress.
  • Producing, checking and interpreting data tables.
  • Liaising with sample providers and survey scripting partners in the UK and internationally.
  • Helping to create insightful, persuasive and engaging research presentations.
  • Supporting the presentation of findings to clients.
  • Working closely with Beano Brain's Content Team on thought leadership projects.
  • Supporting research projects for Beano Studios, home of the iconic Beano comic.
  • Identifying patterns in quantitative data tables.
  • Helping to shape responsible uses of AI in questionnaire design, analysis, reporting and storytelling.

Why join Beano Brain?

At Beano Brain, we're passionate about helping organisations better understand the next generation. Our heritage comes from the original Beano rebels, and that spirit still shapes how we think today. We challenge assumptions, ask better questions and use insight to create meaningful impact for our clients.

You'll join a supportive team where your ideas are valued, your development is encouraged and your work will make a real difference from day one.

Ready to help uncover what's next for kids, teens and families? We'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

What we're looking for

We're open to candidates who have recently started their research career or have gained experience in a formative role and are now ready for their next challenge.

More important than ticking every box is having the right attitude and a genuine desire to learn.

You'll bring:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Confidence in managing expectations, communicating clearly and escalating issues when required.
  • A genuine interest in kids, teens, families, youth culture, brands and evolving audience behaviours.
  • A growth mindset, with enthusiasm for learning, taking on new challenges and developing your skills.
  • Confidence working independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • A questioning mindset and willingness to challenge conventional thinking to uncover better insights.
  • An understanding of, or curiosity about, quantitative research and data analysis.
  • Experience with questionnaire development, survey testing and fieldwork management.
  • Experience identifying trends and patterns within quantitative data.
  • Experience using Excel and research analysis platforms for data analysis.
  • Experience producing insight reports and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

You don't need to be a statistics expert or have a maths degree. We will support your development throughout the research process, but you'll be keen to hit the ground running and build on any experience you've gained so far.

It would be great if you also had

These aren't essential, but they could help you stand out:

  • Experience working with children, teenagers or family audiences.
  • Specialist knowledge or passion for youth culture and family trends.
  • Experience supporting multi-market research projects, particularly in the US.
  • Exposure to mixed-method research projects combining quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • Experience using statistical software such as SPSS, Q or DisplayR.
  • Knowledge of advanced quantitative methodologies including segmentation, Conjoint, MaxDiff, KANO or pricing studies.

Closing date: Monday 9th November 2026 at 4pm
