Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will perform routine and non‑routine quality testing on in‑process materials, finished products, ingredients, and manufacturing supplies to verify conformance with established specifications. You will maintain sample retains, ensure accurate documentation of results, and communicate quality issues to support safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Conduct routine and non‑routine analytical testing on in‑process samples, finished goods, ingredients, and manufacturing supplies.
Perform special tests and assigned projects to support quality and operational needs.
Use, maintain, troubleshoot, and complete minor repairs on standard laboratory equipment.
Compare test results to current specifications and communicate non‑conforming results to supervisory and production teams.
Evaluate test data independently to confirm accuracy prior to escalation.
Enter analytical data into computer systems to maintain permanent quality records, including out‑of‑specification and end‑of‑month reports.
Support investigations by providing input on potential causes and recommended corrective actions.
Partner with production teams to resolve quality issues, including reviewing operator quality performance.
Prepare standard solutions and reagents for routine and non‑routine testing.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and compliance with housekeeping standards.
Monitor laboratory chemical and equipment inventory and initiate replacement or repair requests as needed.
Complete additional analyses and related assignments as required.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Three or more years of related quality or laboratory experience.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Computer proficiency for data entry and record maintenance.
Working knowledge of basic mathematics, including percentages.
Skill in interpreting graphs, specifications, and measurement tools.
Knowledge of basic microbiological concepts is helpful.

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
Compensation
Pay Range:$51,000-$67,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
