The Global Governance Leader is responsible for the deployment, governance, standardization, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System across FCSS. The role ensures FCSS operates through one globally aligned QMS while meeting Baker Hughes requirements and applicable customer, regulatory, and industry standards.

The role provides independent governance and assurance across New Equipment and Aftermarket, connecting global standards with site execution. The position partners closely with Quality Operations, Site Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to identify systemic gaps, strengthen compliance, and improve QMS effectiveness.

As a Global Governance Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Deploying and govern one globally aligned Quality Management System across FCSS New Equipment and Aftermarket manufacturing sites.

• Ensuring FCSS Quality processes align with Baker Hughes standards and applicable regulatory, and certification requirements.

• Owning the global audit governance model, including audit readiness, execution oversight, findings visibility, closure discipline, and effectiveness follow-up.

• Establishing and maintain governance for core QMS processes, including document control, management review, corrective and preventive action, change control, nonconformance, supplier quality, training, and records management.

• Defining global Quality standards, roles, responsibilities, approval authorities, and governance cadences to drive consistent application across sites.

• Monitoring QMS health and effectiveness through leading and lagging KPIs, governance dashboards, management reviews, assurance activities, and site performance reviews.

• Partnering with Quality Operations and Site Quality leaders to identify systemic gaps, prioritize risk-based actions, escalate significant compliance concerns, and verify sustainable closure.

• Governing global Quality documentation to ensure ownership, standardization, revision control, accessibility, retention, and consistent use across FCSS.

• Working with Digital, IT, and relevant functions to simplify, standardize, and digitize QMS processes, tools, workflows, and reporting while maintaining appropriate controls.

• Building organizational capability by coaching leaders, strengthening QMS knowledge, sharing lessons learned and best practices, and promoting a culture of compliance, accountability, and continual improvement.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Have proven experience in Quality Management Systems, governance, compliance, auditing, manufacturing, operations, or Business Excellence.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of QMS governance, audit programs, management review, document control, corrective action, risk management, and certification requirements.

• Have working knowledge of applicable standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant API, AS, ASME, customer, or regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrate experience leading global or multi-site programs and influencing consistent execution across diverse operations.

• Be able to analyze complex compliance and business risks, identify systemic gaps, and translate data into prioritized actions.

• Possess strong oral and written communication, executive presence, and influential leadership skills.

• Demonstrate working knowledge of ERP, electronic QMS, document management, audit, CAPA, and digital dashboard tools.

• Be able to travel globally to support sites, audits, certifications, governance reviews, and business priorities
