About the role:
Position Overview
Responsible for applying Quality Engineering tools and techniques to ensure compliance throughout various phases of product and process development, product and process transfers, transfer designs, product and process changes, and supplier management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply Quality Engineering tools and techniques during product development phases, product and process transfers, transfer design activities, product and process changes, and supplier management.
- Ensure compliant implementation of new product and process development, product and process transfers, and product and process changes.
- Develop, validate, and transfer test methods for new and existing products and processes.
- Lead and manage problem-solving sessions. Plan, schedule, and coordinate Quality Engineering project phases.
- Develop Quality Plans for new product transfers, including raw materials, in-process and finished product specifications, process and test method qualification, supplier capability assessment processes, product design validation, and reliability strategies.
- Participate in and support all activities related to Global Change Control, CAPA processes, and Complaint Handling.
- Provide support for process mapping activities, ensuring compliance with Convatec’s Global Validation Process, policies, and guidelines.
- Perform risk management activities in support of new products, product transfers, and development initiatives.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts for existing products, processes, and services.
- Create and implement changes to Validation and Change Control programs to enhance compliance, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
- Lead the periodic review program, ensuring compliance with deadlines established in procedures.
- Lead follow-up activities and continuous improvement initiatives for the Quality Management System.
About you:
Skills
- Strong communication skills.

- Adaptability to change.
- Required: Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Project Plans, Gantt Charts, and OnePager.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in similar roles within the medical device industry.
- Experience with process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Participation in technical and regulatory projects.
- Experience in risk management.
- Experience using Minitab.
Qualifications/Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree completed.
