In this postion, you will support product and process quality by coordinating quality planning, inspections, process monitoring, and continuous improvement activities that ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and organizational quality requirements. This role contributes to manufacturing and operational excellence by analyzing quality data, evaluating process performance, and supporting corrective actions that improve product quality and process consistency.

Working cross-functionally with quality, engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management, this role supports quality assurance, process improvement, product validation, and manufacturing activities while ensuring products and processes comply with quality standards, customer requirements, and business objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with quality assurance activities by evaluating product and process requirements, inspection results, and quality documentation to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Perform quality evaluations, inspections, and process monitoring activities while identifying quality issues and recommending corrective actions that improve product quality and process performance.
  • Support validation activities, first article inspections, process verification, and quality reviews that ensure products and manufacturing processes meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain quality records, inspection documentation, nonconformance reports, and quality data within quality management systems to support compliance, traceability, and reporting.
  • Analyze quality metrics, inspection results, process performance, and defect trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities by documenting findings, tracking action items, and verifying implementation effectiveness.
  • Partner cross-functionally with quality, engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and finance to support quality objectives and operational priorities.
  • Communicate quality issues, inspection findings, process concerns, corrective action status, and quality trends to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Coordinate quality activities that support manufacturing readiness, product acceptance, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation of quality process improvements and operational initiatives that improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and process consistency.
  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, procedures, audit documentation, and reports in accordance with quality management system requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, manufacturing operations, and overall organizational performance.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field with 2–5 years of related experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, quality engineering, manufacturing quality, and process improvement principles.
  • Understanding of quality management systems, inspection methodologies, product verification, process control techniques, and quality planning.
  • Experience applying quality procedures, inspection documentation, nonconformance reporting, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and quality reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, root cause analysis methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and continuous improvement principles.
  • Understanding of inspection methods, audit processes, process capability analysis, and manufacturing quality requirements.
  • Ability to analyze quality data, identify process issues, and recommend practical quality improvements that support operational objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate inspection results, quality trends, and process performance to support informed quality decisions.
  • Applies sound judgment when balancing quality requirements, manufacturing priorities, customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives.
  • Quality management systems (QMS), e.g. ETQ Reliance, Arena QMS, MasterControl, or equivalent applications.
  • Statistical analysis and reporting tools, e.g. Minitab, JMP, or equivalent applications.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret technical information, engineering drawings, and quality documentation with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively in verbal and written formats.
