Quality Assurance Inspector
Schumacher & Co., America’s leading name for manufacturing and distributing fabric, wall covering, floorcovering and furnishings is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector. This person will be part of an integral team responsible for inspecting fabric and wallcovering at our distribution center.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
- 1st shift 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
- Guaranteed 40 hours with potential for overtime
- Potential Sign on Bonus
- Inspect all fabric and wallcovering to ensure it meets quality standards
- Verify SKU number and description to ensure accuracy
- Properly identify defects for returns
- Perform repetitive movements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to certify on a forklift
YOU HAVE/ARE:
- Comfortable being on your feet
- Be organized
- Good communication skills in person and via email.
- Experience with quality assurance is preferred
- Have a no project is too big mindset
- Work well with a growing team with the possibility of advancement
- Always on time for work and have good attendance
- Open to cross-training in other departments
