Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented QA/QC Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide quality support on a key project

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provides Quality Systems support using the Parsons Quality Management System as the basis for process development and optimization, procedure development, data collection and reporting, and Quality Systems training.
• Supports client pre-bid, bid or contract planning and preparation, as directed.
• Establishes project/program Quality Systems and audit schedules, conducts audits, and facilitates corrective actions.
• Perform independent audits in various areas and ensure compliance with QA/QC programs.
• Reviews documents, witness audited activities, prepares checklists, performs audits, and prepares final reports.
• Analyzes audit findings to determine program quality and identify trends.
• Promotes a uniform Corrective Action/Preventive Action and Non-conformance tracking program.
• Ensures compliance with Parsons’ and Client quality requirements.
  Prepares project/program Quality manuals, plans, and procedures.
• Reviews and approves documents prepared by internal or external organizations.
• Provides support to management for quality activities interface.
• Reviews and approves documents prepared by internal or external organizations.
• Performs statistical process control.
• Provides technical guidance to lower-level Quality personnel.
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors in Engineering discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality
• Knowledge of Quality Management practices, processes and current technology

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with quality management systems and standards specified by ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM and/or similar organizations
• Clear communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze business situations (ROI, cost per unit)
• Effective written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail
• Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems Standards
