As a PwC Mexico Indirect Tax and Foreign Trade Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of indirect tax regulations, including VAT, GST, and sales tax. Your expertise will help businesses optimize their tax positions and navigate compliance challenges, providing strategic advice and planning to enhance their financial outcomes. Within our Tax practice, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional client service, leveraging your skills to address intricate tax issues and drive impactful solutions.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Mexico, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engaging in conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.

Responsibilities

- Leading indirect tax advisory projects, focusing on value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), and sales tax
- Guiding clients through complex indirect tax regulations to optimize their tax positions
- Developing and executing strategic tax planning initiatives to enhance client compliance and efficiency
- Managing project timelines and deliverables, confirming alignment with client expectations
- Mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and enhance performance
- Analyzing and identifying system linkages and interactions to improve tax processes
- Collaborating with leadership to uphold professional and technical standards in tax services
- Addressing and resolving conflicts or issues with clients and stakeholders effectively
- Utilizing tax technology tools to streamline tax documentation and reporting processes
- Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated on international taxation and customs regulations

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
