About the Role:
As a Senior Purchasing & Procurement Associate, you will leverage specialized skills to handle a range of procurement activities, ensuring optimal sourcing, and maintaining robust relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
• Manage specialized procurement tasks and address non-standard procurement issues.
• Develop and issue purchase orders for a wide range of goods and services.
• Negotiate more favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Conduct detailed market research and analysis to support sourcing decisions.
• Assist in developing procurement strategies to optimize costs and supplier quality.
• Evaluate supplier performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Resolve invoicing issues and ensure accurate payment processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
• Mentor junior associates and provide guidance on procurement practices.
