Pay Range:$34.15 - $47.93 The Provider Recruitment Sourcing Speciality is a strategic, results-driven specialist within the Provider Services department, serving as a proactive engine of the clinician talent pipeline. This role is focused on the front-end of the recruitment lifecycle: identifying, engaging, and qualifying passive physician and advanced practice provider (APP) candidates.The Sourcer specializes in deep-dive market research, advanced digital sourcing methodologies, cold outreach, and relationship and candidate pipeline building. The primary objective of this role is to uncover top-tier clinical talent across various industry-standard channels, cultivate initial interest, and deliver highly qualified, warm leads to the Provider Recruiter. This role partners closely with medical leadership and Senior Provider Recruiter to understand clinical profiles and build robust talent benches to secure the health system’s short- and long-term provider capacity.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Promote and integrate the SEARHC mission, vision and values in all aspects of job responsibilities and accountabilities, maintaining a service-oriented and quality-focused culture within SEARHC
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through recruiting platform databases, professional networks, job boards, social media platforms, conferences, residency/fellowship programs, and referrals
- Perform initial outreach, qualification, cultural/mission-fit screening, and present sourced candidates to Provider Recruiter
- Collaborate closely with the Provider Recruiter and hiring managers & leaders
- Maintain active job postings on relevant recruitment-related job boards and platforms
- Build and maintain a qualified provider talent pipeline for a broad range of specialties
- Stay ahead of emerging sourcing technologies, healthcare networking platforms, and digital tools to continually optimize search efficiency
- Partner with Brand & Engagement to create marketing campaigns
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through professional and personal interactions with candidates
- Track recruitment sourcing metrics and continuously refine strategies
- Coordinate in-person and virtual career fairs; after events enter attendee’s information in Workday and engage
- Assist Senior Provider Recruiter and Provider Services Director with projects as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience
- 2-3 years of physician recruitment sourcing/recruiting experience
- Event/logistics planning
- Proficiency with recruiting databases, applicant tracking systems, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience sourcing physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) in a rural & underserved healthcare system, medical group, or specialized healthcare search firm preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Culturally sensitive; able to work with and value the contributions of diverse stakeholders and constituent groups
- Strong outreach, networking and relationship-building skills
- Ability to convert cold leads into warm handoffs for Senior Provider Recruiter
- Ability to build, nurture, and maintain multi-year relationships with passive candidates who are not actively looking to make a move
- Data-driven sourcing
- Sourcing channel management with ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously
- Familiarity with physician markets
- Creative mindset to successfully source candidates for Southeast Alaska
- Proficiency in recruiting technical platforms
- Familiarity with medical specialties, training pathways (residency vs. fellowship), clinical credentials, and basic healthcare recruitment compliance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Alaskan healthcare market and Southeast Alaskan communities a plus
