Job Description

Our client – leading influencer in technology industry – is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to support the delivery of capital, infrastructure, laboratory, workplace, and technical facilities projects across its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) portfolio.

Based in Dublin, Ireland, this office-based role will partner with business leaders, facilities teams, engineering stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to successfully plan and execute projects across multiple countries and jurisdictions.

The selected candidate will:

  • Provide project management expertise supporting infrastructure, laboratory, workplace, and technical facilities projects across EMEA.
  • Evaluate project requests and provide recommendations regarding scope, budget, schedule, risks, and delivery approach.
  • Manage project delivery from initiation through handover, including design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out activities.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Facilities Management, IT, Security, EH&S, Procurement, and Finance to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures while maintaining consistent project execution and communication.
  • Navigate varying regulatory, planning, health and safety, and building code requirements throughout EMEA.
  • Travel regularly throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to support project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and site assessments.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client interactions, relationships, and expectations.
  • Manage capital, infrastructure, laboratory, workplace, and facilities projects throughout the EMEA portfolio.
  • Partner closely with integrated facilities management teams and regional business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with site leadership, facilities teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors across multiple EMEA locations.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of building systems and technical infrastructure to effectively communicate project requirements.
  • Prepare agendas and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and reporting documentation while securing required stakeholder approvals.
  • Coordinate project reporting, design reviews, and stakeholder communications throughout concept, schematic, design development, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
  • Assist in the selection, procurement, contracting, and management of consultants, contractors, suppliers, and delivery partners.
  • Review project costs, change requests, payment applications, and financial forecasts while ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Support regional project planning and project prioritisation activities.
  • Conduct regular site visits throughout EMEA to assess project progress, identify risks, validate project milestones, and support issue resolution.
  • Provide routine project updates and governance reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Apply standard project management methodologies, reporting standards, and risk management practices across assigned projects.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage best practices, standardise solutions, and improve project delivery outcomes.
  • Adhere to corporate, building, and client policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with facilities personnel and business stakeholders to achieve quality, service, financial, and operational objectives.
  • Escalate significant issues, risks, and recommendations to leadership as appropriate.
  • Obtain approvals for scope changes, budget adjustments, and expenditures exceeding approved limits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations, planning requirements, building standards, and health and safety legislation across EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance.
  • Continuously develop professional knowledge and remain informed of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Display a working knowledge of MEP systems, engineering design, manufacturing, data centre, laboratory, and mission-critical environments.
  • Be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects.
  • Ensure project scope, schedule, budget, governance requirements, and performance expectations are maintained by all stakeholders.
  • Develop preliminary project cost estimates for funding approvals.
  • Regularly monitor project progress through site visits, procurement reviews, contractor reporting, and project controls.
  • Lead project meetings, track action items, coordinate deliverables, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Review and approve project financial documentation, change orders, and invoices.
  • Oversee contract administration, project documentation, commissioning activities, punch lists, and close-out processes.
  • Adhere to company policies, understand local permitting requirements, and secure final approvals and project acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years' project management experience within technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, laboratory, data centre, mission-critical, or corporate real estate environments.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering, construction, facilities, or project delivery role.
  • Experience delivering projects across multiple sites, countries, or jurisdictions is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within diverse cultural, regulatory, and business environments throughout EMEA preferred.
  • Experience with laboratory, technical infrastructure, workplace fit-out, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, permitting requirements, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing technical infrastructure projects involving MEP systems preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, procurement activities, contracts, and change management processes.
  • Solid understanding of construction industry practices, documentation, standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management software platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled project management and workflow automation tools preferred.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (approximately 25–40% travel based on project demand).
  • Must be based in Dublin, Ireland, with flexibility to support projects across the EMEA region.
