What you will be doing: 

As a technical project manager, you will plan, coordinate and manage projects related to our in-house production equipment, such as spinners, spinning chambers, curing ovens, etc. The projects vary in scope and size and are often part of even larger projects. You will work with colleagues inside your area of expertise and from other departments, such as process specialists, electrical engineers and production experts in factories across the globe.

You will manage each project team and ensure the budget is controlled and that design, development, delivery and implementation are on track.

More specifically, it will be up to you to:

• Develop and drive the master project plans as well as installation plans
• Ensure that the designed technical solutions live up to project specifications, standards and quality
• Participate in sourcing and commercial contracting processes and follow up with suppliers
• Scout for potential risks to sourcing, project completion, etc. and take corrective actions when needed
• Travel up to 80 days per year to visit suppliers and international production sites to oversee equipment implementations and drive troubleshooting

 What you bring: 

You will need to have an astute cultural understanding as you will be working in an international setting, and you know how to navigate in a project organization and communicate at all levels with ease. Taking responsibility and accountability for the scope of your projects, clear communicating with your team to create alignment is second nature.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

• Have 5+ years of experience with project management related to production equipment, including budgeting and time management
• Hold a degree in engineering combined with a solid background within mechanical engineering
• Have a profound technical understanding
• Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English – additional languages are a plus
