Job description
Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver AI-driven solutions for railway industry customers. The ideal candidate will manage projects where requirements are initially unclear and evolve throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong stakeholder management, business analysis, solution consulting, and project execution capabilities.
The Project Manager will work closely with customers, AI/ML engineers, Computer Vision specialists, software developers, and business stakeholders to understand customer pain points, define requirements, propose suitable solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
Job Responsibilities**
- Lead project delivery through effective scope management, planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
- Drive regular meetings with customers and development teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Manage project resources and team performance to achieve project objectives.
- Provide leadership and influence team members to foster ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with software development processes, quality standards, and project governance.
- Identify project risks and issues proactively, and drive effective mitigation actions.
- Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced project environment.
- Prepare project reports, project documentation, and management updates in a clear and timely manner.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communications across customer and internal organizations.
- Track project progress, dependencies, action items, and escalations to ensure successful delivery.
Job Qualifications**
Technical & Domain Knowledge (additional preferable)
- Experience managing projects related to Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Vision, or Automated Defect Detection.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and performance metrics, including False Positive (FP), False Negative (FN), Precision, and Recall.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams working on C++, OpenCV, and AI-based solutions.
- Experience working with data-driven validation and performance evaluation activities is preferred.
Additional Key Points (Highly Recommended)
- Strong customer management and expectation management skills.
- Experience managing offshore or distributed development teams.
- Ability to balance project constraints including scope, schedule, quality, and resources.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivery commitment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
