The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of the SQL Modernisation and Application Audit projects. The role coordinates project activities, schedules, documentation, and stakeholder engagement while monitoring progress to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes, scope, and quality standards.
In addition, the role is responsible for analysing business operational requirements, identifying process improvement opportunities, and recommending effective business solutions. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, the Project Coordinator defines requirements, evaluates solution options, supports acceptance testing, and fosters strong relationships across SVHA, Digital & Technology, vendors, and external partners to enable successful project outcomes.
About the role
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of IT application and database migration projects, including the SQL Modernisation and Application Audit projects.
This role will coordinate project activities, schedules, governance, documentation and stakeholder engagement, while supporting business analysis, process improvement and business readiness activities. You will work closely with business, technical and vendor stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeframes, scope and quality standards.
The role
- Coordinate IT application and database migration projects, including planning, scheduling, governance and documentation
- Support the Project Manager with project coordination and delivery activities
- Engage business, technical and vendor stakeholders, facilitating workshops and communications
- Support requirements gathering, business and process analysis, change and impact assessment activities. Analyse business operational requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Evaluate solution options and support the recommendation of effective business solutions
- Monitor and report project progress, risks, issues and dependencies. Maintain project documentation, governance artefacts and project reporting
About you
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Coordination or Business Analysis within IT application projects
- Experience coordinating IT application and/or database migration projects
- Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, governance, documentation and reporting
- Experience working with business, technical and vendor stakeholders
- Strong requirements gathering, business analysis and process analysis skills
- Experience supporting change, impact assessment and business readiness activities
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to monitor and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams
- Experience working within a complex organisation or regulated environment will be highly regarded
