Job Description:

As a Production Planner Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing Production Planning, including setting parameters, capacity analyses, and product inputs on the assigned production lines, aiming to meet the required service and inventory levels. Leads projects/people to improve processes that optimize production planning and execution.

The impact you will have on this role

Role will be responsible for guaranteeing the required raw materials inventory levels to support production plan. This process will include:

• Work together with manufacturing to improve service and inventory results, while supporting cost reduction projects.        

• Analyses short- to mid-term supply chain capacity to determine equipment loading and staffing resources.

• Makes routine planning adjustments to ensure schedule attainment.

• Lead improvement projects in Production Planning processes.

• May provide leadership that includes activities coordination and production planning processes alignment.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree concluded from an accredited college (Engineering / Business / related fields).

• At least 3 years of experience in production planning or similar activities in Supply Chain.

• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft 365 programs.

• Advanced English proficiency.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivation skills.

• Teamwork skills.

• Skills and knowledge of analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, ERPs, etc).

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.

Work Location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at 3M plant in San Luis Potosí.
