In this role, you will act as the principal gatekeeper of our technical product integrity, ensuring that all manufactured and distributed goods fulfill strict international trade frameworks alongside cutting-edge environmental sustainability mandates.
You will bridge the structural gaps between Engineering, R&D, Legal, and Supply Chain teams to actively direct the generation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), monitor detailed material compliance workflows, and oversee international export control and product classifications.

• EPD & LCA Management: Lead the structural execution, verification, and formal registration of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for the Automation and Communication product portfolio.
• Eco-Design Collaboration: Partner closely with R&D, Systems Engineering, and Product Management to weave sustainable circular economy principles into early-stage product design cycles.
• Carbon Footprint Tracking: Formulate, calculate, and systematically audit product-level carbon footprints to reinforce corporate Scope 3 emission tracking reporting requirements.
2. Material & Chemical Compliance
• Regulatory Monitoring: Enforce global compliance matrices aligned with critical hazardous substance regulations including, but not limited to, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, and POPs.
• Supply Chain Material Audits: Manage data collection, validation, and risk analysis utilizing cross-industry compliance platforms to trace Full Material Disclosures (FMD).
• Conflict Minerals: Oversee complete due diligence, supplier tracking, and document verification processes supporting Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates (CMRT) and Extended Minerals Reporting Templates (EMRT).
3. Global Trade Compliance & Export Control
• Product Classification: Maintain strict operational ownership over defining accurate Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) and Harmonized System (HS/HTS) codes for physical hardware, digital software, and underlying technologies.
• Sanctions & Licensing: Supervise restricted party screening logs, verify compliance in sanctioned destinations, and independently secure valid export licenses from competent national authorities (e.g., EAR, ITAR, or local equivalents).
• Dual-Use Assessment: Evaluate technical design specifications to determine dual-use applications and mitigate international regulatory compliance risks on cross-border technology transfers.
Profile Requirements
Education & Experience
• Academic Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability Sciences, International Business Law, or an equivalent technical field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of direct, hands-on experience driving technical product compliance, material governance, or international export control within manufacturing or advanced technology sectors.
