We are seeking an experienced Product Sales Manager, Liquid Phase Business to lead Agilent’s Liquid Phase business in Korea and Japan, while also serving as Korea Technical Leader. This role will strengthen Agilent’s technical leadership, accelerate commercial growth, and drive workflow-based customer success across HPLC and LC/MS solutions.
About the Role
As Product Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, market share expansion, and customer engagement for Agilent’s Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry portfolio, including the InfinityLab LC Series, Single Quadrupole, Triple Quadrupole, and Quadrupole Time-of-Flight platforms.
You will lead product and business initiatives across key customer segments, including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food, environmental, chemicals, materials, academic, and government research markets. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Service, and Product Development teams to develop opportunities, support competitive conversions, and execute new product and workflow strategies.
In addition, this position will serve as the Korea Technical Leader, providing matrix leadership to Korea-based product specialists, market development specialists, and application scientists to strengthen technical capability, field execution, business development, and customer impact.
Key Responsibilities
Business growth and market strategy: Deliver annual business goals and targets for Korea and Japan by identifying growth opportunities, addressing market challenges, developing funnel and pipeline strategies, and driving competitive conversion initiatives.
Team leadership and capability building: Provide leadership, coaching, and development support for product specialists, market development specialists, and field application scientists through matrix collaboration. Establish clear metrics and KPIs to improve team effectiveness, scalability, and execution discipline.
Korea technical leadership: Strengthen Korea’s technical leadership and field capability by aligning product, application, and market development resources to support strategic customer programs across pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and applied market segments.
Customer engagement: Support high-value customer engagements, including key opinion leader interactions, workflow discussions, and strategic account conversion plans in partnership with Sales and Marketing.
Market intelligence and portfolio feedback: Consolidate customer needs, competitive insights, and market intelligence for HPLC and LC/MS product lines, working closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Product Development teams.
Commercial execution: Collaborate with Marketing, Service, and Product Development teams to ensure aligned execution of campaigns, sales enablement, new product introductions, and workflow initiatives.
Sales and technical enablement: Lead technical enablement during sales training and support sales competency initiatives to strengthen customer-facing effectiveness.
Operational discipline: Follow relevant sales and application processes and provide regular reports to regional leadership on business performance, market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities.
Customer experience and compliance: Represent Agilent professionally by adopting global policies and standard processes, building trusted customer relationships, and maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Travel: Be willing to travel within Korea and internationally, up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of business, technical, or customer-facing experience in HPLC, LC/MS, or related analytical technologies.
Strong knowledge of HPLC and LC/MS markets, applications, competitive dynamics, and customer workflows.
Proven leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate technical strengths and workflow value into clear commercial outcomes.
Strategic mindset with strong ownership, execution discipline, and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
Effective communication skills in Korean and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing business, technical, application, or field-based teams.
Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical regulatory workflows.
Strong understanding of CDS platforms such as OpenLab, Empower, or Chromeleon, as well as data integrity requirements and method transfer best practices.
Experience conducting business in the APAC region, particularly across Korea and Japan.
Ability to communicate in Japanese - a bonus.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
