Product Manager
Location: Remote (US). Preference for candidates based in Burlington, VT or the San Francisco Bay Area. If local, hybrid with three days per week in office.

Sirona Medical builds cloud-native radiology workflow software. Our product carries a radiologist from the moment a study arrives to the moment a signed report goes back to the referring physician, and small improvements anywhere along that path compound across hundreds of studies a day. This role owns a piece of it.

A radiologist may read a hundred or more studies in a shift. At that volume a few seconds of friction is not a detail, and the people living it will tell you about it in plain terms. That makes radiology a satisfying domain to build for, and a demanding one. Underneath the workflow sit decades of standards, integrations, and site-specific habits, most of which exist for a reason you will have to learn before you touch them.

Candidates coming from healthcare or other clinically demanding software are particularly well suited to this role, as are those with a technical background. Prior radiology experience is a plus. We're looking for strong product fundamentals and someone who can learn a complex clinical domain quickly, spot friction others might overlook, and turn that understanding into better software. You'll work as a peer alongside the PMs who know these systems best.

What You'll Own:

• A product area: its roadmap, its priorities, and the outcomes it is accountable for
• The problem space: direct relationships with the radiologists, technologists, and administrators who use it
• The requirements: what gets built, why, and what finished looks like
• The results: whether what shipped actually changed anything

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the roadmap and priorities for your area, and defend those decisions to stakeholders across sales, customer success, and engineering
• Run discovery directly with radiologists, technologists, and system administrators, and turn what you learn into prioritized requirements rather than a feature list
• Look for the friction users have stopped noticing because they have been working around it for years
• Write clear product requirements and partner with design and engineering to move features from problem definition through launch and adoption
• Spend real time with your engineering team, enough to understand how the product actually works and where it breaks down
• Drive prioritization within your area, weigh tradeoffs openly, and push back on scope when it is the right call
• Partner with clinical, quality, and regulatory colleagues to ship safely in a regulated clinical environment
• Work with the other PMs to keep your area coherent with the rest of the platform, and share what you learn from customers
• Define what success looks like for your area, and measure whether shipped work actually moved it

Key Requirements:

• Two to four years of experience in product management, engineering, consulting, analytical, or customer-facing roles
• Demonstrated ability to turn observed user problems into clear software requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication. You can explain a problem clearly to an engineer and to a non-technical stakeholder, and you write things down
• Sound prioritization instincts and the ability to make a decision with incomplete information
• Comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action over waiting for direction
• A collaborative working style. You share context early, ask for input before you need rescuing, and give it back when a teammate asks
• Willingness to get into the details of a genuinely complex application rather than staying at the summary level
• Genuine interest in healthcare and clinical workflows
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or another clinically demanding software domain
• Exposure to healthcare data and integration standards such as DICOM, HL7, or FHIR
• Experience building for expert users in high-volume, time-pressured environments
• Prior experience in QA, technical support, solutions engineering, or implementation on a complex application
• Experience working in a regulated healthcare or medical device environment

The annual US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 to $125,000 + equity + benefits. Pay is flexible depending on experience, work location, and job-related skills.
