About the Role

We are looking for a Product Design Manager to lead the product design team in Vietnam. This is a hands-on leadership role across three areas: leading a team of senior designers, driving product design craft from strategy through outcomes, and owning the design system.

This role is based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and will report to Head of Product of PropertyGuru Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

Team

• Manage, coach, and grow a team of product designers — set craft standards, run critiques, give direct feedback, and own hiring and career growth. 
• Set the bar for quality and collaboration, and delegate ownership of product and system areas to designers ready to lead. 
• Establish design operations and processes that scale with the team. 
• Advocate for design and user experience across the organization, raising its influence with senior stakeholders. 

Product craft 

• Set the design vision and strategy, and shape product direction with Product and Business from the problem-framing stage. 
• Own end-to-end design quality and consistency across consumer and agent journeys. 
• Guide discovery and user research with the research team, and partner with Data and Customer Service to ground decisions in evidence. 
• Continuously monitor product feedback and research to surface problems and opportunities, and translate them into roadmap priorities. 
• Stay hands-on in the craft and own delivery through to measurable outcomes. 
   

Design system 

• Own the design system and visual language, keeping work consistent across channels and business units. 
• Partner with the Design System designer to localize it for the Vietnam market. 
• Maintain Figma libraries and partner with front-end engineers to keep the system in sync with code. 
• Define and uphold accessibility and inclusion standards across design and development. 

What we’re looking for

• 7-10 years in product design, including 2+ years in a lead or management role.
• A portfolio of case studies demonstrating design’s measurable impact on the business. 
• Strong command of UI conventions for responsive web and native mobile, including performance and footprint optimization across devices. 
• Proficiency with UX metrics and data tracking. 
• Proven ability to integrate AI into the design workflow — such as rapid prototyping, research synthesis, and documentation. 
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for different audiences.
