Job Description

Please note: This is a pipeline requisition for anticipated Summer 2027 internship openings. We accept and review applications on a rolling basis, and we extend offers as individual positions are finalized and specific team hiring needs are confirmed. What You'll Do

• Support active engineering projets and analyses within your area of study, contributing to work that advances TRISO-X fuel fabrication projects.
• Provide support for day-to-day departmental or team operations.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, meetings, and project discussions offering input and feedback when appropriate.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational efficiency or project outcomes.
• Help organize and maintain project files, documents, and records.
• Conduct research and gather information for ongoing initiatives and projects.
• Help prepare reports, presentations, or other materials as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Current enrollment in — or recent completion of — a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, civil, nuclear engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset — you're eager to learn and ready to contribute.
• Academic or hands-on knowledge in a minimum of one of the following areas:
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD)
  • Piping and Instrumentation Diagram ( P&ID)
  • Experience with industrial equipment design, procurement, installation, and operation

Program Details

Work Site Expectations: Fully on-site, 5 days per week

Program Length: 10-week program (anticipated June–August 2027; exact dates to be confirmed)

Hours: Standard office hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday

Compensation
