About the team

Our Prague-based team works closely with PwC Germany as a nearshore consulting hub supporting transformation projects in the financial services sector. We combine strong German language capabilities, consulting expertise, and understanding of banking, insurance, and other financial services domains. Fully integrated with PwC Germany, we also remain part of the Czech Technology Consulting practice, creating opportunities to collaborate across both countries. You will work on projects that help leading financial institutions modernize their operations, processes, and technology landscape.

About your manager

Romana Mrazova is a Manager in PwC’s Technology Consulting practice. Since 2017, she has combined technology consulting with hands-on delivery, working on software development and digital transformation projects across the automotive and telecommunications sectors, including SAP transformations. Her expertise includes product management, business analysis, project governance, and test and release management. Having lived and worked in Germany and China, she brings an international perspective and a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and delivery excellence.

Job description & summary

As a Process Consultant, you will support banks, insurance companies, and investment firms throughout complex transformation initiatives, helping them optimize processes and successfully implement technological and organizational change.

• Analyze and optimize operational processes across back-office and middle-office environments

• Identify opportunities for digitization, efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and regulatory compliance

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and design future-state processes

• Support transformation projects from initial analysis through implementation

• Contribute to the deployment of technologies such as Business Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Process Mining

• Prepare project documentation, presentations, management reports, and decision materials

• Work within both traditional and agile project delivery environments

• Support project governance activities and coordinate tasks across stakeholders

• Help clients improve operational performance through technology-enabled solutions

• Continuously develop your consulting and technology skills through training, mentoring, and hands-on project experience

Service Desk Optimization
You analyze current ITSM processes, identify bottlenecks in ticket handling, and redesign workflows to reduce resolution times. You implement SLAs, create dashboards using Microsoft 365 and Atlassian tools, and present monthly KPIs demonstrating measurable improvements in service quality.

What matters to us

• Completed university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or a related field, or up to one year of practical experience in banking, asset or wealth management, or consulting

• Professional German language skills (B2-C1) and English proficiency (C1)

• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively in teams
