Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal OR Sr. Principal Engineer Planning Analyst to support NGAS Engineering Workforce Operations as the UR&R (University Recruiting & Relations) Staffing Lead. This position will be based out of the Melbourne, FL location. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

The selected candidate will lead UR&R and Onboarding activities which require the following:  

• Planning of yearly forecast of interns and college hires to work with the programs to develop a plan for the following year.
• Lead bi-weekly meetings with Discipline Leads.  
• Utilize POST for UR&R activities and provide weekly reports.  
• Work with Discipline Leads on clearance activities and provide weekly reports on status.  
• Lead intern onboarding and meet with the programs weekly to ensure that seating and equipment is available for the interns.  
• Lead Onboarding for the sector (NGAS) and provide a report that is distributed to NGAS and Space sectors, with a detailed listing of all upcoming hires and their onboarding status.  
• Work with the programs to provide data reports and support talent acquisition data calls from POST. 

 

This position may be filled at a Principal Engineer Planning Analyst or Senior Principal Planning Analyst level based on the qualifications outlined below.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Engineer Planning Analyst (Level 3)

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Must have professional and/or military experience to include a background in Staffing, Project Management, Strategy and Operations, and/or Business Operations
• Must have ability to travel up to 10% of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
• Must have ability to obtain a government issued clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Senior Principal Engineer Planning Analyst (Level 4)

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience.
• Must have professional and/or military experience to include a background in Staffing, Project Management, Strategy and Operations, and/or Business Operations
• Must have ability to travel up to 10% of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
• Must have ability to obtain a government issued clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading, training, and directing activities of team members through execution of competitive and/or sole source proposals
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
• Program execution and Proposals Experience
• Experience with Workday and POST

Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $193,900.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
