If you're driven, intentional, and ready to do good, we're ready for you!
Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis has an immediate opening for a strategic, high-energy Senior Account Executive, Personal Representation & Entertainment to join our team in London. You’ve been in the trenches for about 5 years and are ready for your next challenge—working directly with high-profile talent and entertainment clients across film, television, streaming, music, and culture. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and understands that representing a person requires a thoughtful balance of strategic counsel, creativity, discretion, and relentless media savvy.
We’re looking for someone who understands that personal representation goes far beyond traditional publicity. You know how to build and protect a client’s public profile, identify the right moments to generate meaningful coverage, and navigate the intersection of entertainment media, digital platforms, creators, social content, and cultural conversation. You’re equally comfortable developing a long-term visibility strategy, jumping on a breaking opportunity, or helping a client thoughtfully navigate a sensitive moment. If you’re energised by working closely with talent and want the opportunity to build campaigns and narratives around people—not just brands—this is your chance to make an impact.
Responsibilities include:
Strategic Personal Representation: Partner with senior team members to develop and execute thoughtful, customised publicity strategies that elevate clients’ profiles, support their professional goals, and position them within the broader cultural conversation.
Active Media Pitching: You are a proactive, relentless pitcher who knows how to create opportunities rather than simply react to them. Leverage an established network of entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle, business, and culture media to secure high-impact features, profiles, interviews, exclusives, trend stories, and other meaningful opportunities.
Talent & Entertainment Expertise: Understand the nuances of representing individuals across film, television, streaming, music, and entertainment. Stay ahead of industry news, casting and project announcements, awards seasons, cultural moments, and emerging media opportunities that can create meaningful visibility for clients.
Narrative Development: Help shape compelling narratives around clients and their work. You understand how a project, career milestone, personal passion, philanthropic initiative, or cultural conversation can become part of a larger, authentic story—and how to tailor that story for different audiences and platforms.
360-Degree Communications: Understand how traditional earned media, social platforms, creator ecosystems, digital content, brand partnerships, events, and entertainment opportunities can work together to build a client’s profile and influence.
Media Relations & Opportunities: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with journalists, editors, producers, podcast hosts, digital creators, and other influential voices. Coordinate interviews, profiles, appearances, events, junkets, premieres, festivals, and other media opportunities from initial outreach through execution.
Content Command: Produce sophisticated, client-ready materials including press releases, pitch notes, talking points, media strategies, briefing documents, interview prep, bios, and executive correspondence. You are a fast, persuasive writer with a strong instinct for tone and messaging.
Account Stewardship: Partner with senior team members to manage day-to-day priorities across a roster of talent clients. You are the glue of the account—anticipating needs, managing details, keeping projects moving, and ensuring clients and internal teams are consistently supported with efficiency and professionalism.
Client Counsel & Discretion: Understand that personal representation requires exceptional judgment and discretion. You know how to handle sensitive information, navigate challenging situations, and communicate with clients and their representatives with tact, confidence, and professionalism.
Mentorship in Action: Proactively mentor and teach junior team members, helping them develop strong media instincts, writing skills, client-service capabilities, and an understanding of the nuances of personal representation.
Relationship Driven: You understand that this is a people business. You lead by example in how you treat clients, managers, publicists, co-workers, and the media—prioritizing trust, integrity, responsiveness, and long-term relationships.
You Should Apply If:
The Personal Representation Pro: 4+ years of experience in communications, PR, entertainment publicity, talent representation, or a related field. You understand the unique dynamics of working with individuals and are excited by the opportunity to help shape a client’s public profile and career.
The Tenacious Pitcher: You have a growing network of entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle, culture, and digital media relationships and know how to turn those connections into meaningful opportunities for clients.
Entertainment Fluent: You have a strong understanding of the entertainment landscape and the media ecosystem surrounding film, television, streaming, music, and culture. You’re naturally curious about what—and who—is driving the conversation.
A Strategic Storyteller: You know how to identify the story within a client’s career, personality, project, or point of view and translate it into a compelling narrative that resonates with the right audience.
High EQ: You possess strong situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and judgement. You know when to push, when to listen, when to escalate, and when to make the call. You understand that working with talent requires both confidence and sensitivity.
A Meticulous Writer: You are fast, persuasive, and detail-oriented. You can distil a complex idea into a compelling pitch, develop polished client communications, and adapt messaging to fit everything from a national profile to a quick digital opportunity.
Entrepreneurial & Curious: You’re constantly looking for the next opportunity. You love a good brainstorm, stay plugged into pop culture and the news cycle, and aren’t afraid to bring a bold or unexpected idea to the table.
Driven to Over-deliver: You take genuine pride in exceeding expectations and are energised by work that allows you to build meaningful relationships, solve problems, and play a tangible role in shaping how clients are seen and understood.
