About the role 

The Performance & Portfolio Lead plays a key role in enabling the Cyber Risk & Compliance (CRC) Pillar to operate as a high-performing, strategically aligned function within Haleon's Digital & Technology organisation. 

Working closely with a member of the D&T Leadership Team, this role translates strategy into clear, structured plans and a well-governed portfolio, ensuring it is actively managed and delivers measurable outcomes. It drives alignment, performance visibility, financial transparency and disciplined execution, supported by effective governance and consistent ways of working across D&T. 

As a trusted partner to senior leadership, the role brings clarity in complex environments, supports prioritisation across competing demands and enables effective decision-making through performance management, governance and communication. This is a highly visible role requiring analytical capability, executive presence and the ability to influence stakeholders across D&T and the wider business.

Key responsibilities 

1. Strategic portfolio definition & management 

• Work closely with a D&T Leadership Team member and their leadership team to define, manage and evolve the Pillar's delivery and operational portfolio. 

• Maintain a single, coherent view of all CRC programmes, workstreams and initiatives within scope. 

• Ensure priorities, dependencies and delivery plans remain aligned to CRC strategic objectives. 

2. Portfolio consistency & governance 

• Ensure portfolio management is delivered consistently and aligned with Strategic Portfolio Management Office / CoE standards. 

• Apply common approaches to prioritisation, performance tracking, change control and escalation. 

• Coordinate governance forums, ensuring decisions are captured, actions tracked and outcomes delivered. 

3. Planning cycles & strategic alignment 

• Lead the Pillar's annual and quarterly planning cycles, including objectives, OKRs, roadmaps and budget planning inputs. 

• Support Integrated Growth Plan and Annual Business Plan development, ensuring delivery and operational portfolios align with strategic objectives. 

• Translate strategy into clear plans, milestones and measurable outcomes. 

4. Performance, risk & insights 

• Implement portfolio and performance reporting that enables effective tracking of progress, risks, issues and outcomes. 

• Support the identification and management of operational and compliance risks at Pillar level, ensuring visibility, mitigation planning and escalation where required. 

• Synthesise data, insights and trade-offs to support effective leadership decision-making. 

5. Financial reporting & partnership 

• Partner with Finance Operational Analysts and central Finance teams to ensure clear, consistent and reliable financial reporting across the portfolio. 

• Support tracking of spend, forecasts and variances, translating financial information into meaningful insights for business leaders. 

• Ensure financial performance discussions are aligned with delivery and operational priorities. 

6. Leadership cadence & governance forums 

• Facilitate Monthly Operational Reviews (MORs), ensuring effective discussions on performance, risks and actions. 

• Support and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring high-quality preparation, clear narratives and outcome-focused discussions. 

• Design and maintain leadership routines that keep the Pillar aligned, informed and operating effectively. 

7. Cross-functional coordination & enablement 

• Act as the central coordination point between the CRC Pillar and key partners across D&T, Finance, Operations, Strategy, Risk and Compliance. 

• Support workforce planning, vendor coordination and resource alignment where required. 

• Ensure operational processes are aligned with Strategic Portfolio Management Office / CoE guidance. 

8. Executive communications & ad hoc support 

• Prepare executive communications, updates and briefing materials on behalf of the Pillar. 

• Support strategic and operational requests for the D&T Leadership Team member with speed, judgement and clarity. 

• Reduce operational friction and enable leadership to focus on strategic priorities. 

Your profile 

Required 

• Experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, performance management or business operations within complex or matrixed organisations. 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity. 

• Experience supporting leadership governance forums and executive-level reporting. 

• Experience coordinating cross-functional priorities and maintaining alignment across teams. 

Preferred 

• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions across stakeholder groups. 

• Ability to operate with discretion and sound judgement in executive environments. 

• Experience navigating complex environments and driving action through structured thinking. 

• Collaborative approach with experience building trusted relationships across teams.

PLN 279 598,00 - PLN 384 446,70 The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Further details regarding the total reward and benefits package will be shared during the recruitment process. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations. Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role.
