Project Manager – PMaaS (Audio Visual / Workplace Technology Projects)
Location: Mumbai (Work from Client Location)

About the Role
New Era Technology is looking for an experienced Project Manager (PMaaS) to lead the successful delivery of enterprise Audio Visual (AV), Workplace Technology, and Smart Office infrastructure projects for one of our global clients based in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end—from requirements gathering and budgeting through design coordination, vendor management, implementation, testing, and project closeout. This role requires strong stakeholder management, project governance, budget control, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams in enterprise workplace technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Requirements

Manage multiple AV and workplace technology projects simultaneously.

Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders and client teams.

Conduct project kick-off meetings and define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Prepare project estimates, budgets, resource plans, and Statements of Work.

Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget & Financial Management
-
Develop project budgets and high-level cost estimates.
-
Support business case preparation and financial approvals.
-
Monitor project costs, forecasts, purchase orders, and change requests.
-
Ensure projects remain within approved budgets while maintaining delivery quality.
Design & Solution Coordination
-
Review floor plans, layouts, and room designs.
-
Coordinate with engineering and design teams to develop AV solutions.
-
Review Bills of Materials (BOMs), equipment specifications, and technical designs.

Participate in solution reviews for custom and complex workplace technology deployments.
Vendor & Procurement Management

Coordinate with AV integration partners and technology vendors.
-
Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation when required.

Participate in vendor evaluations, bid reviews, and commercial discussions.

Manage vendor deliverables, schedules, quality, and project execution.
Project Execution

Develop detailed implementation schedules with key milestones.

Coordinate project activities across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Track risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

Conduct regular project review meetings and provide executive status updates.

Perform site inspections to ensure quality standards and project compliance.

Coordinate asset inventory, IP allocation, documentation, and configuration activities.

Ensure deployment aligns with enterprise technology standards and governance.
Project Governance

Maintain project documentation and SharePoint repositories.
-
Update project management tools and dashboards regularly.

Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and client processes.
-
Manage project risks, scope changes, and stakeholder communications.
Project Closure
-
Lead project handover to Operations teams.
-
Ensure completion of documentation, asset records, invoices, and final project deliverables.

Conduct project closeout activities and obtain stakeholder sign-offs.

Archive project documentation and update project status to completion.
Required Skills & Experience
-
8–15 years of Project Management experience in IT Infrastructure, Workplace Technology, Audio Visual (AV), or Smart Building projects.

Experience managing enterprise workplace technology deployments.
-
Strong understanding of Audio Visual technologies and collaboration solutions.
-
Experience working with vendors, procurement teams, and third-party system integrators.
-
Excellent project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management skills.
-
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
-
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
-
Knowledge of project governance, risk management, and change management.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project tracking tools.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience delivering enterprise AV, Unified Communications, Smart Office, or Workplace Technology projects.

Familiarity with Zoom Rooms, Digital Signage, IPTV, and enterprise collaboration platforms.

Exposure to construction fit-outs, office relocations, workplace modernization, or corporate real estate projects.
-
Experience working with global clients and cross-functional international teams.
-
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is an added advantage.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Project Management certification is preferred.
