Platform Architect -Oral Healthcare

Job Responsibilities:
Platform architects shall:
• Translate the reference architecture into an agreed platform architecture
• Collect and define the platform scope, the functional- and non-functional requirements and the priorities (including quality & reliability and the business relevant key “–illities”), to be agreed with the applicable stakeholders
• Contribute to a platform strategy which is aligned to the portfolio strategy which makes use of central platforms and commonality to other platforms in the business.
• Define the platform architecture and interfaces (optimizing commonality, re-use, synergies and economy of scale within the scope, anticipation of future options) and guidance how products should (re)use the platform, ensuring an optimum solution across the product line(s) which are defined in collaboration with Product Management/Value Stream Leader
• Specify technology, interfaces, supply- and manufacturing base (make or buy) together with the relevant functions
• Ensure that the platform adheres to regulations and compliances (e.g. IP, standards, security, privacy, quality, regulatory)
• Initiate and supervise the implementation and usage of the platform architecture
• Drive development and engineering of the platform with the Project Manager
• Be responsible for system integration, verification and validation on platform level and the collection of architectural learnings
• Create program for platform element development and release for use in products
• Manage the platform, associated interfaces, technologies, functions and competences over the platform life cycle, including the impact on product-lines using the platform
• Contribute to optimal platform use
• Support the product owner(s) (e.g. product marketing) and platform owners in making investment decisions based on an End-to-End view
• Support strategic architect(s) in maintaining and improving the reference architecture
• Support product architect(s) in using platforms and collect feedback
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Product Architecture, Product Development Design, Hardware Engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
Consumer device or medical device experience preferred
Preferred Certification:
Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
Certified Systems Architect (CSA)
