Pine Tree Camps at Lynn University is an American Camp Association accredited day and overnight camp in Boca Raton, Florida. Pine Tree Camps promotes growth and fun in an environment that's fully committed to the latest standards in health and safety. Pine Tree Camps offers a variety of programs for campers ages 5 to 14 ranging from traditional skill-building camps to sports camps, overnight camps, and camp counselor training programs. Kampus Kampers is a transitional sleepover camp for 100 children ages 6 to 13, with 35 counselors and runs as part of the day camp that has 400 campers and counselors. Kampus Kamper overnight campers and counselors also participate in the day camp program. Friendships made here often last a lifetime.

Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities

• To be the health manager for camp; supervise health and cleanliness standards; work with the Camp Director and staff to help provide adequate physical health conditions for all.
• Ensure each staff member and camper has on file a health history and examination form as required, review health forms.
• Maintain camper health records.
• Inform staff of unique camper health concerns.
• Treat minor ailments.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Refer severe cases to the care of a physician.
• Record all individual treatments administered.
• Ensure the infirmary is maintained in clean and organized condition.
• Originate, update and/or monitor health care, maintain records and implement the health care plan.
• Confirm the first aid kits are well supplied and prepare them for off-campus trips as needed.

Minimum qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Florida as a registered nurse.
• Experience working with children.
• Current adult and pediatric CPR and first aid certifications.
• Must be available for all 9 weeks of camp plus a week of camp training; 5/24/27 - 7/30/27.
• Monday to Friday, both day and overnight positions available.
