Job Summary

Responsible for providing comprehensive banking services, with a specialized focus on mortgage products, to individual clients. This role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying financial needs, and offering tailored solutions to help clients achieve their homeownership goals.

Job Responsibilities

* Proactively engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their mortgage needs and financial objectives.
* Advise clients on suitable mortgage products, including home loans, refinancing options, and related financial services offered by RHB Bank.
* Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, from initial inquiry to disbursement, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
* Prepare and process mortgage applications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct thorough financial assessments of clients, including income verification, creditworthiness checks, and property valuation.
* Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of mortgage leads through networking, referrals, and participation in bank-initiated campaigns.
* Cross-sell other RHB Bank products and services where appropriate, such as insurance, deposits, and wealth management solutions.
* Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support related to their mortgage accounts.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes within the mortgage industry.
* Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall branch/team objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in sales or customer service within the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to mortgage products.
* Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending principles, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
* Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
* Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. Proficiency in other local languages would be an added advantage.
