Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands, including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, and Glucerna®, to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest lives.

Our Pediatric Sales team currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Representative in the Dallas, TX market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support territory sales goals by selling Abbott Pediatric Nutrition products.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines and effectively deliver information in a selling environment.
• Support new product launches and promotional initiatives.
• Build and strengthen relationships with Dietitians, Physicians, Nurses, Hospital Leaders, and Office Staff.
• Demonstrate effective administrative and organizational skills to manage a large territory.
• Manage territory budgets and resources responsibly.
• Function independently with a high degree of initiative, autonomy, and accountability.
• Demonstrate a strong desire for success while achieving both short-term and long-term business objectives.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred candidates will have experience selling within a medical setting and calling on healthcare professionals.
• Strong preference for candidates with hospital, pediatric, OB/GYN, neonatal, maternal-child health, or healthcare sales experience.
• Experience working with or selling to Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Dietitians, Nurses, OB/GYN offices, birthing hospitals, NICUs, and integrated health systems is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence clinical and business decisionmakers.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds to assist with stocking and movement of pediatric nutrition products.
• Candidates with experience calling on pediatricians, neonatologists, OB/GYNs, labor and delivery teams, NICUs, newborn nurseries, and maternal-child health stakeholders are encouraged to apply.
• This role offers an opportunity to partner with healthcare professionals throughout North Texas to support infant and pediatric nutrition with industry-leading Abbott brands.

Territory:

• The ideal candidate will reside in Dallas, Texas, or the surrounding Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
• Travel approximately 30-50% throughout the North Texas territory, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Denton, Sherman, Tyler, and surrounding markets.
• Local candidates only. No relocation assistance is available for this position.

$61,300.00 – $122,700.00
