Description
Anesthesiologist opportunity in northern New Jersey with Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, that offers a wide array of advanced services, including neurodiagnostic, neurological, and neurosurgical services. This site features a certified Level IV Epilepsy Center and is a hub for the New Jersey Stroke Network and a regional leader in neuroscience care through its Atlantic Neuroscience Institute. Also on campus is The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center, where medical experts are performing the most brain tumor surgeries in New Jersey. This growing anesthesia team is supportive, offering an environment that promotes mentorship, professional growth, and collaboration. This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Total Rewards
Salary: $580K
Pediatric stipend: $25K
Sign on Incentive: Up to $100K

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
