Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Prepare and process final pay, off-cycle payrolls, bonuses, and other special payroll transactions.
- Ensure payroll complies with company policies, tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and submit annual income tax and withholding tax filings.
- Support statutory audits, payroll reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of employee data.
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs, including social insurance, group insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Coordinate employee enrollment, changes, and terminations for benefit plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and resolve benefit-related issues.
- Liaise with external vendors, insurance providers, and government agencies regarding employee benefits and statutory contributions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of statutory contributions and benefit-related reporting.
- Support annual benefits renewal, open enrollment, and employee communication initiatives.
HR Operations
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, including attendance, timecards, leave requests, paid time off (PTO), and employee master data.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation, employment documentation, system setup, exit clearance, and final payroll processing.
- Prepare employment-related documents such as employment contracts, confirmation letters, salary adjustment letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including probation tracking, employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and resignations.
- Generate HR and payroll reports and provide workforce data to management as needed.
- Assist with HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous process improvement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient HR service delivery and a positive employee experience.
- Perform other payroll, HR, and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 year of payroll experience; experience managing outsourced payroll services is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, IF functions, and pivot tables.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Experience with Workday and HRIS systems is a plus.
