As a Payroll Analyst at Cloudera, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls and year-end reporting for the EMEA region. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with SOX and internal policies, as well as local tax regulations and other payroll-related laws.

As a Payroll Analyst you will:

• Reviewing payroll output reports for approval and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborating with third-party payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to close out the monthly payroll process promptly.
• Issuing payroll payments to employees and statutory authorities within specified deadlines.
• Preparing payroll-related accounting and accrual entries for input to the finance system.
• Completing monthly payroll accounting balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis and responding to Accounting queries.
• Providing knowledgeable advice to employee and stakeholder queries.
• Preparing ad-hoc reports for the business as requested.
• Working with internal and external audit teams to resolve auditor requests.
• Assisting with various payroll projects aimed at continuous improvement.

We're excited about you if you have:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced multi-country payroll environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) & G-Suite.
• Experience with NetSuite, Payslip and Workday is a plus.
• Previous experience partnering with an external payroll service provider is preferred.
• Proactive nature with the ability to identify and address issues before they escalate.
• High degree of professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of payroll best practices.
