The Opportunity

As a Payer Healthcare Data Scientist, Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming healthcare operations by leveraging data-driven insights to optimize payer processes. Within our Operations practice, you will be at the forefront of modernizing payer systems, working directly with clients to deliver impactful solutions that enhance efficiency and drive innovation in the health services sector. Your expertise will be instrumental in analyzing complex data sets and developing strategies that align with client goals.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.

In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation, confirming rigorous quality standards and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

- Leading operations consulting workstreams focused on payer modernization within the healthcare sector
- Guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of operational transformation initiatives
- Utilizing analytical thinking and business data analytics to drive insights and improve performance metrics
- Developing and implementing process improvement strategies to enhance operational excellence
- Managing project resources and stakeholder engagement to achieve service excellence
- Building relationships with healthcare clients to identify opportunities for operational optimization
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies and leading practices across operations management teams
- Confirming quality standards implementation within operational frameworks
- Identifying opportunities for optimizing operations processes and improving business performance

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Government/Public Policy, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Organizational Management/Behavior, Risk Management/Insurance

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
